I See a tree, a car, the street, the sky, a store
Cedar rough bark, grey green
leaves by new development,
invisible roots, pyramid shaped reaching up,
red needles stick to the ground.
No more forest but it stands erect, alone.
Refusal to bow beneath the wind,
too proud to pull up its roots.
Black Hummer looks like Terminator
dark windows and taller than any other car,
Kills the air with pollution.
It hums like a killing machine
invisible drivers gun engines and could run you down.
Even into the vacant lots.
Run!
Grey cloud thin, long and
starting to break a part.
Sun appears between blue
spaces amid clouds.
A crack in the depression of winter.
Sun gone so long to the south.
Welcome back.
Telephone Lines run parallel
along the street,
they won’t meet but run for kilometers,
horizontal lines blocking the sky.
Man’s engineering scribbled across the sky.
Contrails above play Tick Tack Toe,
man has stolen the sky.
Cement, entrance, support columns,
plants for sale on a five-level rack,
two glass doors to “Enter” and two glass doors to “”Exit”.
Heavy white woman with babies,
families holding hands,
people appear laden with carts and plastic bags.
Wal-Mart
Immigrants lugging life belongings and moving to nowhere.

"Well, I have started my new projects already! I learned how to knit at the beginning of September, and have been doing it obsessively since (two projects done, various more in line)! My boyfriend and I are also putting together a series of prints for my clothing line, Embley, and are going to start with some t-shirts, but who knows what we could do with the images (can anyone say bacon-printed fabric?) I'm hoping that when it isn't so wet I can go on a hike and pick up some decent sized twigs for my next project: wooden button making. I'm inventing my own method, and do not want to do any research.
So far, I love that I can do all these interesting things, get credits, and all of it becomes beautiful things I can wear and share with others. Check out my blog!"

Course wise Im really only enjoying Math, ND PLANNING (am have a little difficulty with math but Ill get through it) im taking it primarily because I want to go to SAIT college in Calgary and take Machinist for a start, then if I really like AB then ill probable take welding and diesel tec as well!!!!!  So that is my plan for the next few years after grade 12, OH YEAH :D talking about grade 12, ill tell you where my parents are sending me! Its called Class Afloat, and you sail around the world for one school year, and i think that’s going to be a total blast!  Umm, Im a total gear head! I love anything that has a motor and I can work on it!  Sleds, quads, dirt bikes, trucks etc i built the sled in the pics all on my own ( with some help from dad) from start to finish and i just sold it for 7000$ and upgraded to a Turboed 4 stroke :D One of my favored thing’s to do Is sled, that has got to be the best thing in the world, granted it is a rather $$ hobby but I don’t care! I LOVE IT! It is a little bit of a dangers sport as well but Iv taken three avalanche courses up to date, and I want to take another one this year and then step it up a little! Iv become a lot smarter out there every since I started taking the courses!!~!  When I turn 19 im going to take my guides training for taking tours out for my dad at his wilderness lodge!! I love welding, and fixing stuff, I enjoy hanging out with people and do things ( LOL don’t ask) Im a party animal and Im on this earth to have fun and im going to live up every moment here to the fullest!
